Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has released this 13.56MHz desktop RFID reader/writer for use as either desktop reader or in embedded applications for access control or authorization, and document tracking where it is required to read and write information to a limited number of stacked RFID tags. This RFID reader/writer is compliant with the ISO/IEC 18000-3 standard and certified for use in both North America and Europe.
This 13.56MHz desktop RFID reader/writer, model 233011, offers a powerful processing platform allowing for a stand-alone reader which operates as a peripheral for a host computer connecting conveniently providing powerful, fast operation on two reply channels and one axis at a reading speed of up to 150tags/s. It performs reliable identification and can read/ write up to twenty tagged items with zero separation between tags at a distance of 0cm to 11cm depending on the tag being read. This RFID reader/writer has a command data rate of 424kbits/s and a reply data rate of 106kbits/s and communicates with a computer via Ethernet or USB interface for data exchange.
