It is an ideal solution for tracking items in severe industrial environments such as industrial electrophoretic painting processes used in the automotive industry. This RFID tag adheres to the EPC Class 1 Gen 2 communication protocol.
This ultra-high frequency Gen 2 RFID tag, model 116402, is suitable for applications where tag reusability is not required. It operates over a frequency range of 865MHz to 928MHz and offers a maximum read distance of three meters. Encapsulated within high temperature resistant plastic, this Gen 2 tag performs well even when subjected to several chemical baths, painting and cleansing processes, high temperature and physical stressors. The RFID tag helps to reduce costs related to indirect maintenance and labor in comparison with permanent tags.
