This tag is intended for identification and location of items in such applications as cold logistics including in the transportation of food and medicine.
This active temperature sensing RFID tag, model 127003, identifies the exact time of temperature change and is ideal for monitoring refrigerated items en route. It has a maximum read range of 100m and a long battery life of up to four years. One hundred tags can read simultaneously without operational interference. What’s more, this active RFID tag can trigger an alarm if a tagged item’s temperature falls beyond preset limits.
