Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. is offering its UHF semi-passive temperature logger tag. This tag is an ideal tracking solution for recording temperatures of sensitive food products and chemical/pharmaceutical products during transportation and storage.
This UHF semi-passive temperature logger tag, model 116045, operates over a frequency range of 860 MHz to 928 MHz and offers a long read range of approx. 10 m in air or 2.5 m on metal. The logger provides a large memory capacity of up to 8000 temperature samples with programmable sampling times. Once programmed, the tag will monitor the temperature sensitive products and trigger an alert if the temperature falls outside of the set boundaries.
This UHF RFID tag is compliant to the EPC Class1 Gen 2/ISO18000-6C standards and can be used with most Gen 2 UHF RFID readers. It is capable of unique ID plus long EPC code, programming temperature thresholds and battery charge measurement through RF. No calibration is required. In addition, it has a long battery life of 3 to 5 years.
This UHF semi-passive temperature logger tag belongs to GAO’s family of Gen 2 EPC (UHF) RFID Tags.
