Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has launched its high performance contactless high frequency fixed RFID reader/writer , which is specially designed for warehouse or manufacturing applications. This portable RFID reader/writer is compatible with ISO15693 transponders and is intended for use in applications such as laundry management, document tracking and Point of Sale (POS) systems where multi-tag reading is required.
This high frequency fixed RFID reader/writer, model 233003, operates at 13.56MHz and offers three LED status indicators and a 300mA battery. It provides for easy installation and can read multiple tags from a distance of up to 30cm. This compact unit has an RS232 communication interface for data exchange. It conforms to the ISO 11784/5 standard and supplies a clock synchronization enabling applications where several readers or antennae are used in close proximity. In addition, it is resistant to dust and water and maintains optimum performance even in harsh environments.
