Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has launched its high performance contactless UHF Gen 2 soft laundry tag,which was specially developed for the sheet laundry and work clothes market. The RFID tag contains a transponder chip compliant with the international ISO 18000-6C standard. This soft RFID tag meets the extreme demands of rotary ironing and can be fixed onto any fabric using a regular heat sealing machine.
This UHF tag, model 116417, operates in the frequency band of 802 to 928MHz (USA) and 865 to 868MHz (EU). EEncapsulated within a flexible textile material, the RFID tag offers good resistance against high temperatures (tunnel finisher) and the harsh conditions of various cleaning methods such as dry cleaning processes. It has 96bit EPC memory. The maximum read distance is 2m for dry cleaning and 5m for wet cleaning.
