Passive UHF Prox RFID Tag for Asset Tracking and Management

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. is offering its passive UHF Prox RFID tag for asset tracking and management of small high-value assets such as servers, routers, disk drives, tools and manufacturing equipment.

It is customized to support 240 bit EPC global Class 1 Gen 2 compliant silicon and the tag operates at a frequency range of 902 to 928 MHz.

Featuring small form factor, high-performance, high reliability and accuracy on any material in any environment, this RFID tag is optimized to perform equally well both on, off, and near metal. This RFID tag has a maximum reading range up to 3 meters both in metallic or non-metallic environments and has a maximum storage capability of 512 bits.

With an IP68 protection rating, and encapsulated within a low-profile ruggedized rigid case, this small form factor tag is able to perform well even in harsh environments.

Overall, this RFID tag is also ideal for IT inventory management or location monitoring of high-value metal or liquid assets.

This passive UHF Prox RFID tag, model 116029, belongs to GAO’s family of UHF EPC Gen 2 RFID Tags. The line of products includes a wide variety of RFID tags to meet customers’ different requirements. A featured model in this line is 860 to 960 MHz. Gen 2 Passive Thin PVC Card which is commonly used in any application where small form factor with longer range read capability is required.
