2.45 GHz Active RFID USB Reader with Two Operating Modes

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has announced the release of its 2.45 GHz active RFID USB reader. It is an ideal solution for personnel tracking, logistics, warehouse management, closed loop asset tracking and high value asset tracking.

The 2.45GHz active RFID USB reader, model 217003, uses a standard USB 2.0 interface to connect to any USB enabled computer device and provides a read range of 15 to 20 m with a built in omni-directional antenna. The active USB reader operates in two different modes. In ‘Direct’ mode, the USB reader transfers its data to the host system in real time. In ‘Buffer’ mode, the reader can store the latest 100 received messages and uploads them only when requested by the host system.

The reader uses advanced 0.18 µm CMOS IC technology for ultra-low power consumption. It operates in the unlicensed 2.45 GHz band allowing it to be deployed in any environments. This RFID reader boasts a high data rate of 2 Mbps and a large buffer capacity to store the latest 800 messages.

125 kHz Programmable Time Recorder/RFID Reader with Large Internal Memory

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. is offering its 125 kHz programmable time recorder/RFID reader. This smart time recorder utilizes RFID technology to allow for quick user registration and is intended for enterprises that need to record worker’s hours quickly and cost-effectively.

This easy-to-use time recorder/RFID reader, model 211014, features 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port, built-in Web administration interface and RS232 serial port for connecting external serial devices. It is password-protected and allows an administrator to remotely manage all device settings and download or search the internal event log. This time recorder can automatically synchronize the internal clock with an Internet time server so that the time is always correct.

This advanced time recorder/RFID reader boasts an internal flash memory of 1024 kb and stores up to 21,000 event log records. Its internal application is based on open-source Tibbo BASIC that may be obtained freely and customized. 125 kHz Handheld Guard Patrol Tour Terminal with Multiple Applications

13.56 MHz Proximity UID Reader for Access and Security Control

This advanced high frequency RFID reader, model 213002, features fast data transfer and provides a read rate of 16 tags/s. The reader provides a baud rate of 19200 bps and allows for multi-detection. It reads multiple transponders compliant with ISO15693 UID standard at a distance of up to 50 mm. 134.2 kHz RFID FDX Handheld Reader for Animal Tracking and Management

This LF RFID FDX reader, model 222005, features one-button operation making it easy to use. The RFID reader is compliant with the ISO 11784/11785 standard and reads tags at a distance of 0 to 40 mm with a fast identification time of less than 1 s. The reader provides FDX-B communication format. An RS232 interface is provided for data exchange. It can store about 2500 records in its 256 kb memory.

Full Featured 134.2 kHz Stationary RFID Reader
