433.92 MHz Rack Door RFID Tag

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has launched this 433.92 MHz rack door RFID tag which is installed on the IT rack cabinet door to monitor and report the door status. It enables users to track enclosure access attempts using active RFID asset inventorying infrastructure.

This rack door tag, model 124048, consists of an active RFID tag and a corresponding magnet assembly. It features an industrial-strength adhesive backing for quick and easy installation. It provides clear signal transmission in high-density rack and data center deployments. This RFID tag broadcasts its unique ID and the door status message every 10 seconds however if the door status changes the tag signals immediately. It provides a typical transmission range of more than 30 ft. The RFID tag uses anti-collision technology for high tag densities and operates with a very low duty cycle ensuring a long battery life of up to 7 years. Moreover, it is impact, splash resistant and temperature stable, making it perform well even in harsh environments.

UHF Gen 2 Harsh Environment/Metal/Liquid RFID Tag

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. is offering its UHF Gen 2 harsh environment/metal/liquid RFID tag which can be both read and written to. This tag is commonly used for containers, stillages and trolleys and is suitable for harsh environments where long read range is required.

This UHF RFID tag, model 116501, operates at a frequency range of 902 to 928 MHz and performs contactless read and write. It allows for multi-detection and is compliant with ISO 18000-6C and EPC UHF Class 1 Gen 2 standards. This UHF Gen 2 RFID tag has a maximum read distance of 3 m. It provides a maximum read quantity of 500 tags and a minimum read quantity of 5 tags/s. With an IP67 protection rating, the RFID tag is waterproof and dustproof. It is resistant to immersion in salt water, alcohol, oil, 10% HCL and ammonia for about 100 hours. In addition, it has a memory capacity of 96 bit EPC ID.

Durable 13.56 MHz Pistol Grip RFID Reader/Writer

UHF Gen2 RFID Satellite Tag

RFID Asset Tracking Software System

RFID Car Wash Management Software System

RFID Car Dealership Software

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. is offering its RFID car dealership software. It is a desktop application designed specifically for automobile dealership management and security.

This RFID car dealership software is compatible with GAO’s active 2.45 GHz long range RFID readers and tags. When used with a 2.45 GHz RFID reader, it provides an adjustable read range of 1 to 100 meters, which allows an entire dealership to be covered by a few well placed readers. With a number of RFID readers mounted in different areas of the dealership, the system is able to track and inventory all tagged cars, key fobs as well as employees in the dealership. The system monitors all registered tags in the dealership at all times. Each tag is associated with a car, a key fob or an employee it is attached to or worn by, and each reader is associated with the area it is mounted in. When a tag enters an area, it is read by the reader mounted in the area. The software also features easy inventory which allows users to start an inventory check by clicking the “Inventory” button on the user interface at any time. It also performs alert activities and test drive detection. When a tag enters the read range of these readers mounted at different access points of the dealership, an alert message is displayed on the screen alerting the user that a car and driver is about to leave the dealership; when an employee takes a car out for a test drive, the system is able to detect it automatically and display it on the screen. In addition, the software offers reports and users can check and print inventory history, alert activity history and test drive history through the software interface.
