134.2kHz RFID Reader Series Ideal for Animal Tracking

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. recommends its series of easy-to-use and cost-effective RFID readers which are a good choice used for animal identification and management. Also, these readers are also suitable for logistics, field service, personnel tracking and event management.

These portable low frequency RFID readers, model 222014, feature fast and accurate scanning and a large memory capacity for storing about 2000 items. The reader series includes two versions of RFID readers: one is used to read compatible RFID tags, display the tag ID on the screen and store the data to onboard memory; the other performs with additional capability to upload the data in real time via Bluetooth to computer or PDA. They work continuously for up to 12 hours on a single charge. Additionally, these RFID readers are shipped with demo software and SDK and meet ISO11784/5 FDX-B and ID64 standards.

433MHz Small Active RFID Asset Tag

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has released its 433MHz small active RFID asset tag finished with PVC to withstand adverse environments. It is specially designed for use in asset tagging applications such as laptops, IT equipment, vehicles and transport media. This RFID tag is an ideal for use on metallic surfaces or plastics containing a high metal content.

This small active RFID asset tag, model 124018, features a small form factor, configurable settings, stability and a collision avoidance algorithm. It provides a maximum transmission range of 60m and has an estimated life time of 5 years when transmitting at a 1.5-second interval. This low power consuming tag is powered by an internal battery and will transmit a Radio Frequency (RF) signal at a pre-set time-interval for the duration of its life. The tag transmits data including Customer Site Code (CSC), Tag ID, Tag Age Counter Value, Movement Alarm and Tamper Alarm status. In addition, the standard method to mount and affix a tag is by VHB type double-sided adhesive tape.

Full Featured Mouse-Sized HF/LF RFID Reader/Writer

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has launched this RFID reader/writer that is commonly used for the verification and programming of RFID tags and labels, personnel identification and access control to computers terminals or Point-of-Sales (POS) application, and many other applications for supply chain, retail, or logistics. The reader/writer is designed for the desk-top and has the unique ability to address both HF (13.56MHz) and LF (125kHz) RFID tags simultaneously.
This portable RFID reader/writer, model 223015, is very small but full featured. Its mouse-sized design makes it easy to carry and convenient to use. This hot-plugable reader/writer can read/write tags at a distance up to 70mm. It can be connected to any standard USB port for data transmission as well as for power supply. The dual frequency is compatible with transponder protocols including ISO 156931-class unique number,1-Code™, 1–Code SLI, my–D, my–D secure, ISO 14443A, mifare®, ISO 14443B unique number in HF mode and HID®, proxEntry®, HITAG2, EM4002/4102 in LF mode. LED indicators verify the status of the RFID transponder within a distance of approximately 3cm. This portable, light-weight reader/writer is shipped with a 1.5m USB cable, demo software and sample tags.

125kHz Rugged RFID Reader

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc is offering its low frequency (LF) handheld reader which is widely used in such applications as guard tour monitoring systems, remote equipment inspection management, goods delivery and transportation management.
This portable LF RFID reader, model 221008, reads tags at a distance of 20mm to30mm with a fast identifying time of less than 1s. It provides an IP54 rating and is dust and shock resistant. It connects with a computer through an RS232 interface for data exchange. This low frequency RFID reader is powered by a rechargeable lithium battery with low power consumption of less than 2W in reading state and 0W in idle state. Contactless 13.56MHz Clear Thin RFID Disc Tag

Toronto, Canada –GAO RFID Inc has added a 13.56MHz clear thin RFID disc tagto its popular product collection. It is ideally suited for asset tracking, anti-counterfeiting application and tour patrol to its popular product line. This RFID disc tag is commonly used in applications such as Process control, factory automation systems, item identification and security systems.
This clear thin RFID disc tag, model 113415, uses a 1K Mifare chip and is compliant with the ISO 14443 standard. It offers a maximum contactless read/write distance of 12cm. Laminated with PVC, the tag suvives a temperature range from -20°C to 85°C and performs well even in harsh environments. In addition, its surface can be offset, screen printing and coding.
