Compact Active RFID Tag with a Long Read Range

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has launched this compact active RFID tag which is specially designed for applications including asset tracking and monitoring, inventory control and warehouse management. It has a small form factor design and a long read range up to 30m for receiving while 45m for transmitting. This low-power consuming tag uses unique anti-collision algorithms. Option user memory of up to 256kbit is available The compact active RFID tag transmits data at frequencies of 916MHz, 927MHz or 868MHz and receives data at a frequency of 433MHz. It is available with several options including operating frequency, bracket for tamper protection, LED, buzzer, as well as memory size. It has an ABS for housing protection against environmental stresses.

Active Temperature Sensing RFID Tag

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. is offering its 2.45GHz active temperature sensing RFID tag which has the ability to collect temperature data in real time and transmit the data to a reader for recording. This tag is intended for identification and location of items in such applications as cold logistics including in the transportation of food and medicine.

This active temperature sensing RFID tag, model 127003, identifies the exact time of temperature change and is ideal for monitoring refrigerated items en route. It has a maximum read range of 100m and a long battery life of up to four years. One hundred tags can read simultaneously without operational interference. What’s more, this active RFID tag can trigger an alarm if a tagged item’s temperature falls beyond preset limits.

High Frequency Fixed RFID Reader/Writer

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has announced the release of its high frequency fixed RFID reader/writer which is specially designed for warehousing or manufacturing applications. This reader/writer is compatible with ISO15693 RFID transponders and can be used where multi-tag reading is required such as in laundry management, document tracking and Point of Sale (POS) systems.

This portable HF fixed RFID reader/writer, model 233003, conforms to the ISO 11784/5 standard and supplies a clock synchronization signal enabling applications where several readers or antennae are used in close proximity. It has an RS232 communication interface for data exchange and offers three LED status indicators. The compact reader/writer provides for easy installation and supports multiple-tag reading at distances of up to 30cm. In addition, it is resistant to dust and water and maintains optimum performance even in harsh environments.

125kHz Handheld RFID Reader Features Wireless Transmission

Highly Reliable 134.2kHz Stationary RFID Reader

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. offers this low frequency fixed reader with an IP40 protection rating making it resistant to water and dust. It is well suited for continuously operation in harsh environments such as feeding stations, animal scales and sorting gates.

This reliable fixed RFID reader, model 212002, is able to read FDX-B and HDX RFID transponders with a very good read range: up to 80cm with Ø30mm HDX transponder or up to 60cm with Ø30mm FDX–B transponder. Transponders with H4102 chips can also be read. This RFID reader is compliant with ISO11784/5 standard and communicates with computer through RS232 or RS485 interface. HF Contactless RFID Jewelry Tag

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has launched this high frequency (HF) RFID Jewelry Tag specially designed for automatic jewelry tracking in retail, wholesale or secured storage applications. Its small size and light weight design aloow it to be attached to or inserted into the object. This RFID tag is used in the field of asset tracking, access control, and inventory management. It supports contactless read/write and operates at a frequency of 13.56MHz. The tag, model 113014, has a capacity of 512bits R/W for data storage, which is relatively high compared with other similar products. The maximum read rate can reach 1tag/sec within its read range of 2 TO 4cm. It works smoothly under a wide temperature range from – 40°C to 85°C and can survive in harsh environments where the temperature varies from – 55°C to 100°C.

13.56MHz Passive ICODE SLI RFID Laundry Tag

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has rolled out a passive high frequency ICODE SLI RFID laundry tag which can be fixed onto any fabric using a regular heat sealing machine. The laundry tag meets the extreme demands of rotary ironing and other requirements in terms of heat, pressure and chemical resistance as needed in applications of contactless tracking of garments in the textile rental and industrial laundry. The tag can also be used in other applications including supply chain management, inventory control, asset tracking and process control.

This RFID laundry tag, model 113018, can be ordered with various optional ICs including Mifare S50, Mifare S70, Desfire MF3ICD41, Mifare Ultralight, Icode1, Icode Sli, Legic mim256, JWL872, TI256, TI2048 and INSIDE picopass 2KS. The circuitry is encapsulated within a flexible textile and offers good resistance to high temperatures and harsh conditions of various cleaning methods such as the dry cleaning process. It can withstand 500 hours under extreme temperatures of -20°C to 110°C, 35 hours in a 120°C environment and 5 hours in a 140°C environment. The laundry tag is also available in both LF (111015) and UHF (116413) RFID frequencies.
