Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has rolled out a high frequency RFID ear tag which is intended for the tracking of medium-sized livestock due to its special shape design. It can be used to monitor each animal’s feeding, location and vaccination histories. The polyester encapsulated ear tag is waterproof and resistant to immersion in salt water, alcohol, oil, 10%HCl and ammonia. Thus, it performs well even in harsh environmental conditions. This RFID ear tag is compliant with the ISO 15693 standards and supports contactless read only. It survives a wide temperature range of -55°C to 100°C.

This wrist band tag is commonly used in swimming pools, washing centers, saunas and other outdoor water recreational entertainments. It is also specially suited for schools, hospitals and sport centers and for attendance management. The tag is compliant with the ISO 156693 standard.

This lightweight RFID wrist band tag, model 113416, offers a read range of 1cm to 10cm. It is waterproof and dustproof and is resistant to vibration. It withstands a temperature range of -40°C to 70°C and performs well even in harsh environments. Offset and silk screen printing are available. A variety of transponder ICs are available for selection with this package.

It is compliant with RoHS and performs thread safe local applications and remote applications under Windows. This RFID reader is ideally suited for commercial and industrial applications where unobtrusive deployments with a minimum of cabling, readers and antennae are required.

This integrated UHF RFID reader, model 236013, operates over a frequency range of 902 to 928MHz for American use and 865.6 to 867.6MHz for Europe. It provides a Cisco-certified DHCP and DNS based configuration, firmware management, TCP/IP networking stack and SSL/SSH-based security. The reader has separate read and write levels which are configurable from 5dBm to 30dBm (1W) at an accuracy of ±1.0dBm. It offers a maximum read distance of 9m with 6dBi antenna (36dBm EIRP) and a read rate of up to 190tags/s. The compact RFID reader provides a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet interface, an RS232 serial port and a 12-pin screw terminal connector. It has 64MB of DRAM memory and 32MB of Flash memory for data storage.

The high frequency RFID reader, model 223013, is compatible with ISO 14443, Mifare A, Philips ICODE I and ISO 156993-13.56 transponders. It features single button RFID reading, two configurable LEDs and a built-in antenna It has a data rate of 26kbps for ISO 15693 standard or 106kbps for ISO 14443. Furnished with a Class 2 Bluetooth interface, it is an ideal solution for businesses to add value to their handheld products.
