It is also especially suitable for IT asset warehouse tracking as the sleek form factor of the passive tag fit well in the limited, exposed areas of enterprise IT servers and equipment.

This Gen 2 passive RFID tag, model 116405, has a lightweight and durable housing with industry leading on-metal performance and offers a read range of four to five meters. It is easily attached to an item by either adhesive or magnetic tape or a cable. The compact tag is RoHS compliant and supports EPC Class 1 Gen 2 communication protocol. Encapsulated within an ABS/PC plastic case, the Gen 2 RFID tag withstands a maximum high temperature of 85℃; with an IP68 protection rating, it performs well even in harsh industrial environments.

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has launched its high performance contactless433MHz active reader/writer, which operates at dual-frequency for fast and reliable communications. The reader transmits at 433MHz and receives at one of 916MHz, 927MHz and 868MHz depending on what is required for the geographical region. This RFID reader/writer is designed for easy set-up, configuration and use. It is suitable for applications including access control, asset tracking and inventory control.

The active reader/writer, model 241026, is encapsulated within an impact resistant polystyrene case with UL94-HB flammability rating. It has two input contacts for door sensor inputs and two output relays for electric door strikes, magnetic locks, CCTV, lights or sirens. The RFID reader uses parity bits and cyclic redundancy check to maintain data integrity. It receives data transmitted by a tag and sends the information in real time to a host PC. Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has launched its high performance contactlessactive UHF RFID card tag, which transmits a Radio Frequency (RF) signal at a pre-set time-interval. The compact tag is specifically designed for personnel tagging and asset monitoring and can be mounted on a variety of items. It incorporates a convenient clip-slot for a lanyard for wearing. This active RFID tag has certification under Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).

This RFID card tag, model 124012, has an anti-tamper kit to log any tampering with it. It uses a collision avoidance algorithm to disperse the transmission around the mean repetition interval. The tag offers configurable settings including Customer Site Code, tag ID, tag age, counter value, movement alarm and tamper alarm status. Encapsulated within a moulded ABS plastic case which is ultrasonically sealed during the manufacturing process, the tag withstands harsh environmental conditions. It is equipped with an auto-wake function that will automatically “wake it up” every five minutes and transmit its pre-configured data. In addition, this active tag has an estimated life of five years when the transmission rate is approximately once every1.5 seconds. The battery status can be inferred by interrogating the internal Tag Age Counter Value.
