Ultra Thin Mount-on Metal UHF RFID Tag Offers Robust Performance at an Attractive Price Point

The sturdy tag offers high-performance RFID tag identification in metallic or non-metallic environments at an attractive price point. It is ideal for applications such as inventory control and tracking of conveyances, pallets and other high-value assets.

Constructed with durable flame retardant 4 (FR-4) laminate, this UHF mount-on metal RFID tag, model 116040, can endure temperatures of 200 °C (even in oil), high humidity, and pressure of up to 15-bar. The tags also withstand vibration and mechanical shock. As well, it is resistant to chemical hazards such as sulfuric acid and salt water. It is EPC Class 1 Gen 2 and RoHS compliant and has an IP68 rating. The tag is available in frequencies for North America, Europe, and Japan. Barcodes and 2D barcodes and encoding are available for the tag.

433 MHz Dry Contact RFID Tag Features Superior Anti-Collision

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc., a company specializing in providing RFID Readers, RFID Tags and RFID software, has launched its 433 MHz dry contact RFID tag used to monitor and report the open or closed state of the device.

This dry contact RFID tag, model 124049, features two twisted wires that enable connection to a dry contact device. Once connected, the tag will monitor and report the open or closed state of the device. While the connected device is in either open or closed state, the tag will beacon the dry contact status every 10 seconds. When the dry contact state changes, the tag will immediately broadcast three beacons with the new dry contact status after 0.5 seconds and then return to beaconing every 10 seconds.

This easy-to-deploy dry contact RFID tag features low power consumption and superior anti-collision for high tag densities. It obtains typical transmission range of more than 200 ft. The tag is impact resistant and temperature stable. It can be mounted using either the industrial-strength adhesive backing or by using the supplied plastic screw mount.

Wiegand-to-Ethernet Smart RFID Controller Able to Connect to Any Kind of Wiegand Reader

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. has released a Wiegand-to-Ethernet RFID controller ideal for door access applications. This network access controller is able to connect to any kind of Wiegand reader such as magnetic stripe reader, RFID reader or fingerprint reader.

This Wiegand-to-Ethernet smart RFID controller, model 491018, features central control and communicates with a network server using RCP or UDP protocol for easy overview of access events. This programmable control unit provides a Wiegand port and a 10/100 Base Ethernet port for communication. It offers a master card for appending or deleting visitor’s access privileges directly from the external reader and can thus act independently without connection to a network or PC. Two input sensors detect unlocked door and exit button pressed. Two relay outputs for external alarm and electric lock are provided.

RFID Access Control Software System Greatly Improves Control Efficiency
