Overview - 16 Port UHF RFID Reader
This 16-Port Class 1 Gen 2 UHF reader has a long read range of up to 12 meters as well as a high read rate. It is Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) enabled allowing for deployment where power is not readily accessible. It can also be connected via USB. The reader has fine control of RF output from the 16 ports that enables very high speed antenna switching, making it suitable for finely tuned multiport applications such as smart-shelves for retail, document control, multi-lane reading for vehicle tracking, and applications that require either continuous monitoring or periodic inventory over a large segmented space. The 16 port reader also provides four GPIO controls: 2 general purpose input and 2 general purpose output. The included API provides for rapid application development reducing time to market.
